Programme Delivery and Operations Manager

Help us turn strategy, contracts and service commitments into programmes that land on time, on budget and with the evidence to show for it. You will run planning, control and reporting across our technology work, and keep live services visible and accountable.

The role is accountable for coordination, planning, control and reporting. Technical decisions and implementation stay with the relevant technical leads. It reports to the CEO of Datasphir.

What you will do

• Translate contracts, strategies and approved initiatives into programmes, projects and workstreams, with work breakdown structures, integrated plans, milestones, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
• Keep schedules, action registers, decision logs, risk registers and change records current, and agree recovery actions when delivery slips.
• Maintain a consolidated portfolio and help leadership assess new initiatives before commitment.
• Track budgets, commitments, forecasts, invoices and variance with Finance, and assemble evidence for milestone invoices and audits.
• Set proportionate governance, prepare decision papers, and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for each audience.
• Coordinate incidents and outages through to root cause and corrective action, without taking over engineering.
• Build practical delivery discipline across teams and keep routine matters from being escalated to the CEO.
